ZeeCal : Social Group Calendar Productivity iPhone & iPod Touch App Review & Download

ZeeCal, identifying participants only by their mobile phone number, allows you to schedule events and meetings with ANYONE, even those that do not have ZeeCal app!

Using ZeeCal, you can create an event right from your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, selecting attendees from your phone/device contacts. It is NOT required that the attendees have either a smart phone or app installed. You chose when and where the event is, and the number of times you want to remind the invitees, voila ZeeCal will handle reminder notifications! For those who have ZeeCal app installed, we send an event invite, which they can accept or reject (either way, you’ll know). For the rest of invitees we send prompt SMS reminders, and as many times (max three) as you want them to be reminded!

If you have to cancel an event for any reasons, no worries, you delete the event from your ZeeCal, we do the rest by immediately notifying all of the attendees. Don’t you worry, we do the same should you need to make updates to an event you created.

Want to organize a group event? You can create a group either by adding members from your contacts or typing it in. You can also create and send the link to your group, and have people opt-in. Already have details of all group members in excel or csv format? We got you covered, go ahead and import them into the group.

For instance, say, you are the coach of a little league softball team (our sincerest appreciation to all those volunteer coaches of all little league sports!). As it is you got plenty on your plate, the last thing you want to do is type out an email announcing a last minute cancellation of a practice or game. With ZeeCal, just delete the event from your calendar, all the participants/parents are immediately notified, right on their mobile phone, it is that simple!

Say, your spouse wants you to pick up groceries on your way back (how often does that happen ;-)), you can not only be reminded of that, but you also have the grocery list, right on your phone. By the way, your spouse can keep updating the list (and how often does that happen!) until you leave the store!
